Mite Test
Mites are very tiny, which could only be observed under a microscope. Mites exist in pillows, quilts, cushions and furniture in the bedrooms. They feed on powdery materials, such as animal dander, flour, cottonseed cakes and fungus. We can say that wherever there are human and animal, there are mites.
The hazard of mites
Mite is an important allergen for bronchial asthma. The close relationship between mites and bronchial asthma has been proved in many researches. A 13-year New Zealand tracking survey on children suffering asthma has proven mites to be an independent and dangerous allergen, which has an outstanding influence on the incidence of asthma. Three researches in US also successively proved mites to be an important inducing factor for bronchial asthma. The excreta and the secreta of mites as well as the decomposed body of dead mites will become allergens, which cause allergy symptoms when inhaled by allergic people.
Our advantage
Mite tests are conducted to confirm the degree of mite pollution in the house. ECOLEET conducts mite tests using Acarex® methods. Firstly, samples are collected from the fabrics using allergy vacuum cleaner imported from Germany. Then a “soakage test” is conducted for judging the level of pollution by observing the color of dust samples collected. Acarex® is a fast, accurate and reliable test.
