Allergy symptom Test:

     Immune globulin IgE (an antibody within human body), also called as “reagin”, exists in human blood. It’s the least kind of immune globulins in human serum, consisting only 0.001% of the total amount. It can cause type-I hypersensitivity syndrome, what we called as allergy symptoms.

    IgE test is expressed in international unit (IU) or ng, 1IU=2.4ng.

    IgE level is influenced by various factors including environment, race, heredity, age, testing method and sampling standard. Besides, IgE could also be related to antiparasitic infectious. A test value larger than 100-333IU/ml (ku/L), equals 250-800ng/ml(μg/L), is usually considered high. Such value is commonly seen in allergic conditions and allergic diseases, such as asthma, allergic rhinitis, urticaria, etc.
