Curtains have an immediate impact on a room’s style and atmosphere. Keeping them clean enhances the overall look of the space, improves privacy, and can help reduce heat transfer through windows. Proper curtain care also helps mitigate sunlight-related fading and color variation on carpets and interior furnishings.

As with carpets and other soft furnishings, high-quality curtains often represent a significant investment in materials and workmanship. Regular professional cleaning is a cost-effective preventive measure that can significantly extend service life while preserving cleanliness, appearance, and drape.

It is reasonable to be cautious when choosing a curtain cleaning provider. Curtains continuously attract airborne dust, odor molecules, pollutants, and allergens, and their large surface area, complex construction, and varied fabrics make cleaning more demanding than standard garment dry cleaning. Professional curtain cleaning requires fabric- and construction-specific processes to achieve deep cleaning and sanitizing while controlling risks such as shrinkage, distortion, wrinkling, and color loss—and ensuring proper fit and installation compatibility after cleaning.

ECOLEET operates in accordance with IICRC standards. All staff have completed RSA and CPA training, and every job is performed strictly under documented SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to ensure consistent, controlled, and traceable service delivery.

Our service helps reduce allergen loads associated with elevated IgE responses, supporting an indoor environment less prone to asthma-like discomfort, nasal symptoms, throat irritation, and itchy skin. This may also help reduce reliance on allergy medications. Under proper protocols and approved products, the process is designed to minimize irritation risk for infants and allergy-sensitive individuals, while also limiting unnecessary environmental impact.

We uphold a service commitment to reduce unnecessary use of toxic chemicals and minimize environmental pollution. Our entire process follows green cleaning principles—delivering deep cleaning and sanitizing while reducing exposure to harsh chemicals.

We do not recommend attempting deep cleaning with standard household vacuum cleaners or water-filter vacuums.

With the aid of a laser particle detector, ECOLEET has observed that some household vacuums—including certain water-filter models—can perform poorly in filtering fine particles, especially ultrafine particles below 0.3 μm. In such cases, allergens may be released back into the room as particles or water mist, increasing re-exposure and potentially extending the survival and spread window of microorganisms in the indoor environment. Because fine and ultrafine particles have a much larger surface area relative to their mass, they can carry a higher pollutant burden and create a greater health load. Consumer testing has also indicated weaker performance for some water-filter vacuums when filtering particles below 0.3 μm.

ECOLEET uses a professional, allergen-control filtration system that effectively captures and blocks particulate emissions, reducing particle release back into the indoor space. Under comparable test conditions—when overall particle counts in the environment are around 100,000–130,000 units—our filtration system can limit exhausted ultrafine particles below 0.3 μm to approximately 20–50 units. Under the same conditions, a water-filter vacuum may exhaust 50,000–150,000 units. The difference in filtration performance is clearly measurable in instrument readings
